Idea Consultation

Pitch your idea and receive feedback.

Our entrepreneurs, mentors and industry experts are here to give you immediate feedback, recommendations and valuable insight to help you turn your idea into reality.

Idea Consultations enable you to identify strengths and weaknesses about your idea, in a supportive, open-forum environment. You will receive direction on necessary resources to obtain, and a written follow-up of all the advice given.

You are also able to learn from other participants’ feedback and can apply suggestions and knowledge from these experts to your own idea. Whether your idea is new, in development, or looking to expand, you are encouraged to continuously return and pitch at an idea consultation.

A StartMeUp Ryerson Coordinator will be present to write up all the comments and feedback that are given during the Idea Consultation. These notes will then be e-mailed to you and your team so that you will be able to refer back to all the experts’ comments and suggestions at your own convenience.

Time Allowance:

Participants that have an idea in the early development stage will be allotted 10 minutes to pitch their idea to the expert advisers, and 8 minutes to receive feedback.
